Vivian Appler is thoroughly enjoying Philadelphia right now! Since arriving in Philadelphia, she has performed with the Belligerent Muse Theatre Company, Theatre V, the CEC New Edge Performance Series, Workshop for Potential Movement, and the Shishkabobettes. Before moving back East, her work could be seen in and around Oakland, California and London, England. Last year, she received a Leeway Window of Opportunity Grant to study with the physical theatre company Lume in Brazil, and she has enjoyed sharing what she learned with this fantastic group of Sybils, Witches, and other Wise Women. She is very excited to be showing an original piece of collaborative performance, 'Prototype Biographies 1&2', with Gwen Rooker at GLUE next month. Vivian received her MA in Performance Studies from the University of London, a certificate from the Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre, and a BA from the College of William and Mary. She loves working with this dynamic group of women who say yes!
